I'm taking a vacation day this Friday to play Rift so I hope to have the guild created sometime during the day.
I plan on jumping on Thursday night to reserve my name, but I may be offline right after because I should be getting my new PC that day. So I'll be swapping out rigs and getting all my junk downloaded again to get back to normal.
Once we get the guild formed, I'll post a list of contacts here on the forums. Plus (at least I hope) you should be able to just look up Circle of Trust and locate someone.
Just please be patient with me during the first couple days. ;D

If peeps hadn't already realised this, there is a /who command ingame, and so doing /who circle should bring up a list of all guilded members online - should you need to nab someone for an invite.
Of course if there is another guild with the word circle in, you may have to try trust instead. I believe putting the guild name in full works also.

How about all of us in-game arrange to meet in Meridian at say 5pm Eastern? That gives those of us there at launch - 4 hours to amass the cash and get the levels required - which should be more than enough.
Between those of us who are on, we should be able to form both guilds by substituting people in and out.
I will be on with Kess.

One has to wonder though, why have 2 guilds? I don't think we're so full of people that we need to be split into two groups. Totally up to the guild leaders of course, but I'd love to see us under one banner. Just my 2 cents.

I can't speak for Jay, or for us really since I wasn't a founding member of CoT, but I think we're two similar groups who have grown comfortable with what we are. While having a Brady Bunch moment by mixing the two could be awesome, someone's gonna get hit in the nose with a football.

We have Circle of Trust (CoT) and Children of the New Sun (CotNS) - I suggest we take the "C", "o" and "T" from your acronym, and the "N" and "S" from mine... and see what it gives us... well I'll be jiggered! What kind of crazy coincidence is that, we get "CotNS"! *coughs* I suspect, just like CotNS - those of you who have been in CoT for years have grown attached to your guild name, and like being stopped by random people in-game with, "wasn't your guild in... all those years ago?", "Is this the same CotNS from... " and "Is Kess still a member? That jerk owes me money!" etc... If you're all happy to join CotNS, then of course you're more than welcome to - but that's a discussion for you peeps to have. With forums, facebook, twitter, chat channels, vent etc... I'd hope to be grouping up with many of you regularly though, regardless of guild tag.

Hopefully they create some form of alliances to solve this problem for us

Ahh, okay that makes sense. I'll likely have my main in CoT and an ALT in CoTNS anyway, so it's no biggie.

I'm sure we can all keep in touch and get along. If most of this guild drops out- which hopefully won't happen, it's not like it's Aion- we can hop ship to the other. It's a bit depressing to have a guild fall out from under you while you're still enjoying the game, and it's much worse for it to happen twice. I guess I just shouldn't have stuck with Aion so long. Ah well. R.I.P. Ataraxia, and Ars Diavoli!
It's ok, Tanner. I understand. You've got to keep it hood, and represent Springdale Gated Community. Word.

Ahh, okay that makes sense. I'll likely have my main in CoT and an ALT in CoTNS anyway, so it's no biggie. And I will be doing the exact opposite, maining in CotNS and alting in CoT. Without an alliance chat channel (like in WAR or GW) it will be the best way to keep in touch. As you say, no biggie. The only downside I can see to our guilds remaining separate is that the guilds will take longer to level and get us perks. I haven't seen any super-cool mandatory perks like WAR's Guild Tavern teleport scroll yet though.

We can. It was my plan to set it up if no one else did. This probably deserves it's own thread!
