I'm planning on running stockades tonight with Zeli (Zely) if anyone want to join. It will probablt take about 15 minutes since I'll be running it with my 58 Death Knight (Cavallina). If there is time we can always run something else. I'll be on about 8:00 EST.

I told Rhok I'd help him with something too tonight (a quick kill for him to get a drop off a mob) and any help is appreciated. Maybe we can do that quickly first?

I did play for two years. I was an Undead Holy Priest, and levelled all the way up as such. I got in with a fairly newb guild, and within a few weeks I knew more about the game than any of them did, without really trying. Sad.
Another example of the community was that in most PUGs there was always at least one player who had never done an instance before, or played in a group. Yes, they were usually Hunters, sometimes Rogues or Mages. Some were even members of that newb guild. I eventually left that one with the other members who were interested in seeing end-game content, and we joined another guild.
I enjoyed the endgame from the Burning Crusade expansion. It was quite well done, and there were lots of neat tricks you needed to have down to complete encounters. That requires a lot of teamwork and for everyone to know their role, as well as work together. I also learned that if something goes wrong it's always the Healer's fault. That was helpful, as I didn't know that before.
dammit Jim, I'm a doctor not a bricklayer!

I, myself, played for 4 years. I was a Warlock all the way from the second stress test to the day I canceled. I leveled to 60 as demonology(this was before Locks' got their talent revamp), during this time the affliction tree was "the way to go". Shortly after hitting 60 I switched to dark pact for raiding. In 4 short months, the small casual guild I was in had become a major player in the raiding scene. We went through MC, BWL, and AQ40 in that time. Granted the strats had been laid out by then, but I've always worn that as a sort of badge of honor.
When TBC came out, I had the spell power/spell crit to level full destro. That was the most fun I ever had. However, like all the other raiding guilds, TBC caused major growing pains. Most had filled their roster to ~45 raiders during the MC era, now here comes TBC and took away all that. Drama ensued, and we lost some very good raiders because of it.
And that was the beginning of the end for me with Blizzard. Combined with the constant nerfs for PvP that ended up affecting PvE more, I will never go to another Blizzard MMO. They catered to the whiners more than the people who were actually enjoying the game. Thus my seething hatred for WoW.
Stupid WoW. Play a real game noobs.

When TBC came out, I had the spell power/spell crit to level full destro. Yeah that was how I played my Warlock, though I cheesed it up and went completely spec'd for Shadow Bolt spam. A lot of people teased me because it was such a simple build to play, but when you think about it, a rotation is a rotation, no matter how many different buttons you're pressing, and I loved being consistently in the top 3 for DPS. Killing that bitch Vashj was probably the most rewarding moment I've had in an MMO. We worked long and hard on her, and even though we managed to get much further, for some reason, beating her really sticks out in my mind. Wish I had the kind of time and patience I did back then, but I think those days are firmly in the past.

Thanks so much for doing Stockades Cav! Anytime! The Death Knight is fun. I'm not sure what I'm doing yet, haha, maybe that's why it's fun. It is weird starting a character at level 55 and getting all your talents real fast. You don't have the time to acclimate and get used to the different talents and know when it is appropriate to use them. But I am so overpowered decked out in all blue gear it really doesn't matter, I just do a face roll on the keyboard and everything goes down Grok, those days are over in WoW. I remember spending weeks and months attempting content and the screams and cheers on vent when we finally got a boss down. Those are some of my favorite MMO moments. I admittedly play for the PVE and just do the PVE on the side, so those kind of accomplishment make me all warm and fuzzy inside. Before taking my WoW hiatus to go to Aion I was raiding Ulduar and a week or two was the most we spent on a boss until we could take them down. It is still an accomplishment but with less blood, sweat and tears along the way. WoW is my meatloaf and mashed potatoes. I have spent so much time in Azeroth that I find it very comfortable. I have left for brief periods of time to check out LoTRo, WAR and Aion but in the end I always seem to come back.

Wow, is still my home. I have had 3 (I like the number 3 now) cases of my account being hacked. I have just overcame the last one. Even that and being in Iraq and haveing 1k plus Lat can't make me quit. The game is beautiful, the lore is good and I like the BG and arenas. The BGs and Arenas are great with a dedicated team. Ok, I'm going to play with my blocks untill the patch finishes its download (in four or so days).

Haven't seen you around much Z. If anyone is still interested in playing WoW you are more than welcome on the Silver Hand Alliance side. Just give me a holler in game on any of my toons: Lanir, Druzz, Ellwin, or Druzzal. I am only playing WoW until the next big MMO, so far nothing has held my interest long enough to leave. Warhammer really let me down. Lanir Old School CoT'er

I know. I've got so much gaming on my radar lately that I'm easily distracted.
and to top things off, I had an error on my iPhone software update last week and when that happens, it messed up my authenticator. Now I cannot get into my account at all. Sent an email friday after searching and discovering there's no quick do-it-yourself fix (or at least I couldn't find one), and I'm still waiting. So even though I wanted to play over the weekend, I was unable to.

When I left my ipod at work I just called the customer service number and they removed the authenticator option. I had to give them information like the answer to my secret question and the original activation key code from the main game (not expansions). It took about 5 mins total.
Then the next day when I took my ipod home, I just set it up again.
