The story and PvP really kick up once you get into the 20s. You start to get a sense of purpose (and kill people).

Well, the killing people would help, of course...

All in all, it was pretty fun after they got the lag issues ironed out. It never really completely left, but it got better as they added some more patches or whatever it was they did. I actually ended up playing on Nezekan.
A few Asmodeans appeared around the Eltnen area, as rifts were opening fairly regularly. I never had a fair fight with any of them, there were never less than a pair of them on me at any time, and they tended to get at me when I was working on quest mobs. Wheee.
I got to level 21 last closed beta, and i followed the same steps to get there again. What with work, sleep, and other real life commitments, I only really had time to get to level 25. That meant that I finally got into the Abyss at about 12:30. The campaig to get access wasn't too tough, it included a flying time trial to get through 6 rings around Eltnen fortress, and later you had to kill someone in PVP at the Colloseum.
As in all of these games, I avoided being on the chat channels as much as possible, it's just too annoying to read the little kids' whingeing and moaning.
Well? How was everyone else's experience?
There's an old cat saying that, I believe, bears particular relevance to our situation. It goes something like this: We are all, going to die.
