yeah, Jason seemed to like parts of it I just played the beta and thought it was horribly janky, but people who played it on release were having some good times. The fun seemed to die off quick though. Sucks to see any game close up because of being mismanaged though.  |

Yeah, it's pretty shocking. The game came out about 3 months ago I think. I remember seeing that the developer, Realtime Worlds had a bunch of layoffs last month.
Wonder if the game is still on the shelves? I'd hate to be in the dark and pick up a copy of it.

There were a few parts that were cool, but the overall setup was awful.
A cops and robbers shooter like that could be cool, but they completely fucked it up.

Regardless of the fact that I had no interest in this game, I always find it a little sad when a MMO closes up shop.
That being said, at the risk of sounding like a complete fuddy duddy, playing a gangsta type and all that jazz that goes along with it has absolutely zero appeal to me. I like my violence set in a fantasy world, not "reality". I wonder if in the end that sentiment has effect on any survival of the game.
