Wait, are we talking about another game now? I thought we were supposed to be forum dueling in the Star Wars universe? Oh, I forgot...Rer can't lose. He's got that Omni-Bubble.

I only refuse to play LoL because I am currently reading SWTOR: Fatal Alliance. Which, by the way, is directly related to the game, and so far depicts the very same abilities they have released as usable for the classes so far. Quite a fun read so far, and makes me excited for more novels set in this time. I believe the next book is titled "Deceived", which comes out Spring of 2011(March 22nd). Quite the coincidence, no?

Collector's Edition of the game should come with the books *nod nod*

I hope there are two editions of the game at least. Jedi and Sith versions. Though, being the Star Wars junkie I am, I would likely buy both if such things existed. Another hope of mine is that there are three tiers of packs. Similar to the Halo series where there is regular, Collector's, and Legendary.
Maybe: 1.) Standard 2.) Collector's 3.) Master's
I like this style, it gives people different levels of commitment to the game and its trinkets/bonus items. Maybe that's just my Star Wars obsession talking. ;D

That would be awesome! Again, I would likely buy both if that were the case. My Star Wars nerd voice in my head would not allow me to do otherwise.
Or, to make is really convoluted:
1.) Standard 2.) Jedi CE 3.) Sith CE 4.) Jedi Master Edition 5.) Sith Lord Edition
That would be crazy though. Not that it hasn't been done before. As long as they make the stuff unique and collectable. Lot of manufacturing though, probably overkill in that sense.

Whatever else is available in game, I hope that all the non-Force-sensitive classes have a Bag-o'-Tricks(tm) available to make it fun. I would hate for any encounter to be decided by the presence or lack thereof, of Force-wielders. Or perhaps the number of them you've brought along.
Some of my fondest memories in role playing games(real ones, I think they call them 'table top games' now) were with the Star wars game, on my bounty hunter. I soon acquired a nemesis, in a fledgeling dark Jedi or Sith (whichever he was). I ended up using lots of grenades of various types, bombs, knives, myriad blaster types, my jet pack, rockets, and even a lightsaber I had salvaged over several other adventures-don't worry, it was mainly used as a tool for cutting through things, as well as intimidating the sith out of people-kinda what got me on the guy's bad side, really.
When you whip out your lightsaber, you expect to hear something like, 'OH NO PLEASE DON'T KILL ME I'LL BE GOOD I SWEAR!'
You absolutely DO NOT want to hear something along the lines of his response: 'Hm. Strange...I do not sense the Force in you..."
At any rate, I barely managed to escape alive, while completing my mission of investigating a security depot. It blowed up real good. Sadly, my nemesis did not...
You've certainly got a stout heart. I think I'd like to eat it.

I have confidence that the non-Forcers will be formidable. In Fatal Alliance (that book I'm reading based on the game), there's a Bounty Hunter which single handedly took on a Sith and Jedi simutaneously (both were apprentices, but still). He humiliated both of them and got away with barely a char mark on his armor. The combination of his bag of tricks(jet pack, flamethrower, grenades, illegal weapons stashed away on his armor) and all around cunning was really quite impressive. There's even an Imperial Agent (and Smuggler, to a lesser degree) who fights with smart tactics, and smooth talking savvy. The Agent is not so much of a badass in combat, as a slimy worm no one can catch. Also, very impressive. He manipulated more than one of the other characters to his advantage. Anyway...if the book I'm reading is any indication of how the classes in SWTOR will act(and they are pushing this book hard to promote the game at conventions) I am confident that we won't be heavily reliant on Sith/Jedi for all our battles. ....That's not to say, of course, that a bit of Sith Sorcery wouldn't make it go more our way.

Yeah, I just don't want to be Forced to play a class I'll be bored with.
m(_ _)m
Sorry, it had to be done.
According to the lore, the Force Sensitives get most of their combat prowess from empathy, mainly avoiding surprise by detecting aggression and anger. Machines, explosives, and the like, would have no such detectable emotions. In KOTOR2, you learned to affect and detect droids, but it would be tough to determine if a machine was a simple light, or a grenade. Talk with Atton a bit, and you get a little run-down of effective ways to kill them off.
This bounty hunter is my kind of scum, fearless and inventive.
