I imagine that my wife and I will be spending the lion's share of our time in WAR for the foreseeable future, but we do have active accounts in LotRO. Not, alas, on Landroval, but I have no problem with making up a new character for a chance at a social fellowship. Are folks still playing? Squiggley

I don't think so. This game had a 2 week window with me. Both times I loaded it... 2 weeks and then I was done.

I gave it about 2 weeks and played in total about 6 hours in those 2 weeks. Veto gave it 2 hours one night. I can tell within playing 15 minutes if the game has caught my interest. I beta tested a few mmo's but only DAoC, WoW, and now WAR caught my attention. Soon as I tried WAR in PW, I never logged into the WoTLK beta again.

Hm, definitely it is a different fit than with a game like WoW. I really like the ambience and it would have likely been my primary MMO, had I found a group like CoT there. I prefer to play MMOs with a group (something about the"M", liklely) rather than just solo-grind all the time. WAR seems like it is going to be a lot of fun.
