There was an update on the Kickstarter this morning outlining some details on character advancement in Crowfall. To me it's reminiscent of D&D 4e wherein you progress through your Archetype until you reach a stage at which you select a promotion class. I've been spoiled by Guild Wars 2's flexible character creation, so it does sadden me a bit that this choice is permanent and unalterable. But that's not why I'm posting.
This line caught my eye, under the "Alchemist Runestone" heading: "Grants Inventory Bag (Potions) - Potions placed in Potion bag will not explode when hit
Is this suggesting that other characters carrying potions have a chance upon being hit of those potions exploding? Why carry potions at all then? I don't want to be laying siege to a world keep only to have my fulminating potions cook off, leaving no evidence of my presence other than a charred, bloody smear.
It would be really funny to watch though.
