Dungeon Runners for me. I signed up for the Mythos beta, but no word yet.
Tip: set /difficulty insane when starting. Lots more loot that way.

As I said to Thrakus, its still basically a 2D game in a 'fake 3D' world. I understand they have to make a living with those banner ads, but at 1680x1050, its not like they still need take 1/6th of the height of the screen Camera control leaves a lot to be desired. X to mouse look? Ahem. I went into that other town and there was a lot of !, which was nice. Leveled up to 3 before calling it quit. As I said to Thrakus, I would have preferred if the game was, I don't know, isometric 2d, at least, I wouldn't have to worry about the camera that much...

Most new MMO type games seem to have that problem, for my eyes at least. lol well I think the problem was that stupid world and trade channel is the same or worse than WOW barrens chat. I wish I could turn it off. We should try a /invite next time to see if that pops up on screen. Yea Mac I would prefer a 2d game as well, though the graphics are vastly improved from a year ago. One cool thing is that you can cross train without any penalty. So a Mage-Warrior is easy enough to make. Armor can be worn by anyone. Other than that, well for a free game the instances are much much better than the free open spaces from other free games. Then it's just a spawn kill fest. Way worse than this. *shrug* Really nothing Free on the PC better than this at this point and time. Maybe Mythos will be.

you can use: /leave market
to get out of the market spam.
I tried some mage, but I find I die a lot and end up in melee anyway, so I'll focus on Winin and melee/aoe.
I use WASD to move and rotate the camera, so I don't notice any problems with the 3dness of the world. It isn't very complex, but then it is randomly generated, so it can't really be.
Being able to resize the chat box would be nice. Voice is only for subscribers, and no auto-run/attack is tough. Holding down the mouse button to attack makes it somewhat better.
Basically it seems great for what it is (MMO-light) just like Diablo was great as an RPG-light.

agreed it's nothing more than a funny Diablo clone. Not bad, but not incredible.
For the $5 a week might not be a bad toss in either, but probably more useful at higher lvls. (What I read in a review was you see sub items drop ALOT in the 20-30's.)
Yea I found the hunter was decent, but if you close in melee he gets totaled, and that was in normal.
So does insane give more exp as well? I have Thrakus my warrior and I think AOE is the way to go as well.
I didn't see any heals either so no worries about that.
And I think you can respec at any time for free. There is a button on your stats screen.
First spell I will get him will be that lightning spell. Works wonders. would respec for more mana and dmg though.
I will tool around some more in there later on. Yea once I can turn off those chats will be much more tolerable and easy to talk with you guys.
At least there is a sound when you get a tell.
Abb I think I got yours but a wall of spam knocked it out so I was wondering what the hell that sound was rofl.

a month www.dungeonrunners.com/membership.htmlBut that info is false. You get a bank now, just not 3 slots. You get stackable pots, just not the really good ones. Haven't had a prob with logging in yet and there were 200 people on world 1 last night. But the items supposedly make all the difference. My warrior got a bunch of lvl 24 items dropped off some high lvl last night rofl.

I'm level 8 now. I got the spam channel turned off and I resized the chat box so I don't click on it anymore when fighting. Holding down the button to fight makes a big difference. I have some ae spells from the archer line. One is a dot, the other lowers their defense. That plus my big trident is working wonders. I rarely die on Extreme level. Also I don't need many pots. On Insane, I need lots of pots and I die a lot. The only difference between those levels is +100% loot vs +150% loot. The lower frustration and less time running makes up for that. I'll try to get on after work for a bit today. But we have a party tonight, so I'll have to quit early to prep. Oh, you can log into your char on any world. I usually play world 3 because it has less spam. You can't see other players unless they are online I suspect. We should always play on the same world to make it easier to find each other.

yea let's stick with World 3 then for less spam and less chance of a queue then.
I'm gonna crank up the difficulty as well and make a run through the first dungeons again I think.
I'm lvl 5 I think now.
Yea I need more cash as well rofl.

ok extreme rocks. Starts to get alittle hard in the second dungeon but is great for gear.
If you need to lvl put it on easy cause monsters are worth the same.
I think what I'm gonna do is do all the quests, lvl a bit, then run through again on extreme.
Plus those hero commendations can net you some nifty armor/weapons if you are lacking in either.
I want to get an epic Xbow/Shotty
lvl 8 Hunter Alundar always on World 3 (gonna try PvP once patch hits, we should all stick on PvP server if it's not to crowded come patch. IF it is we can stick to world 3 ;D)
Lots of fun.

I'm glad we finally caught each other Thrakus. Grouping was lots of fun and much less frustrating than soloing. As a mage, I die a lot while soloing. And I use a lot of potions.
My characters are: Winin (tank) and Jonogold (mage).
I have a lot of loot now, I might go on easier mode and get some xp. I get a bunch of good spell upgrades at 8.
