So this weekend I wanted to find out if there was anything worth buying on the Loyalty tab of the marketplace. Turns out there is! There are instruments and other fashion items that I didn't really see the need for. But, the two chests you can buy for 15 loyalty points (points you earn by logging in every day as a patron) give you a random, but pretty worthwhile item as well as a handful of gold!
The last two chests I opened each gave me a Companion Crust. It's a food item that you can use on your pet/mount to give them 50000xp. That's a lot!
The other neat thing about that item?
YOU CAN TOTALLY CLICK ON SOMEONE ELSE'S DONKEY THAT LOOKS JUST LIKE YOURS AND BUMP UP THEIR LEVELS
AND THEN YOU CAN STAND THERE IN SHOCK, REALIZING THERE'S NOTHING YOU OR THEY CAN DO TO CHANGE WHAT JUST HAPPENED
ALL THAT XP IS NOW ON SOME RANDOM DUDE'S DONKEY

Oh hey thanks for letting me know about the fact that these chests give coin! I didn't have anything I wanted to spend mine on either, so today I got one of each, 6 gold in each, a companion crust, and a moonlight archeum crystal which will REALLY come in handy! Thanks for the PSA too, I'll make sure I'm standing far, far away.  |

Ya, I wasn't too interested in the chests but after this post, I bought 2. I got 5 gilda! GILDA!

Which chest did you buy? I got to 15 again yesterday and straight up bought a companion crust. I needed that ass to be level 20. So now he is!
I'll have another 15 tomorrow and I'll probably just buy a chest every 3 days from now on. I don't see anything else I really want.
