I'm having flash-backs to the beta and opening of Anarchy Online...and it's making me very frightened.

If enough gave it shot and it didn't completely suck, I'd give it a go for a few months.

I have been wishy washy about AoC. At first, I thought it looked great. Now I have sort of backed off and don't know if I will play it or not. Not sure why really. Maybe it is too graphic for me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you decapitate people and, well, be decapitated... Not sure I have the gusto to see my virtual head go sailing.

Like Thrakus said, I am actually enjoying LotRO quite a bit. Will probably just stick with it. At least for 3 months because I took that option because it was cheaper!

Me too! I am surprised at how much I am enjoying LOTRO. I actually pay attention to the quests, and I love the crafting system.

Well, I'd be there if I could play. The laptop that I have right now can't handle the game really up to the "standards" that I grow used to on my uber monster PC that is currently waiting for a new motherboard from Dell tomorrow...

Ramunch got close he got to 18, but then went back to his captain and is 15 now as well.

Abb is 18.

We might get close enough to quest with ya though.

Conan does have gory decapitations. Only thing I have to say about that gameplay option is this.

In Gears of War they had a gun with a Chainsaw on it. Completely f*ed up multiplayer and they would not take it out.

Cool factor does not make the game better.
Cheap shots like that make me think your making up for something else lacking.
Now if it was in game and they weren't touting it around like some kind of incredible added bonus, then I would be more interested.

Have you guys read the conan books? They were pretty bloody iirc. If the tone of the books, fans would bitch and moan about how they changed the flavor of the world (for example, see Star Wars ep 4-6 vs 1-3 debate).
