I've been looking back on some screenshots and watching a few videos, and SWTOR is falling into the same category as WAR on pretty much every front. It's a game I wanted to love, but just couldn't.

Heads up, Gamestop dropped their price today, if you call and they have it in stock they'll hold it for 24 hours.

I really enjoyed my story up until the end where it was apparent my choices didn't matter. I wanted to cheat on my companion but it didn't let me. The story just fizzled and died. When I was in the open beta and watching the videos I voiced at how stagnant the PvE AI looked. How it looked exactly like WAR. Not until after I bought the game did I realize how bori g the PvE was and how every planet was just a Diablo map that never randomly generated. Nothing about planets felt like a planet. It wasn't like SWG planets at all. You walked from one end of a hallway to the other. Like Slurms said though, the first month was amazing because MP was there. It was the best time I've had in a guild in a long time. I can't wait to recapture that with GW2 for at least a month

Only bummer with GW2 is that we're keeping it low-key. With SWTOR, we (Zeli) put forth a shit-ton of effort on the recruiting front and we even had other bloggers/twitterers join in which made the guild chat even more packed.
Maybe this time around we'll have the opposite effect. Maybe the game will be a slow burn and we'll grow.
Time will tell!
