Anyone else currently playing DCUO?
I had beta'd this a year ago, but RIFT stole my attention and I kind of forgot about the game. It recently went F2P and I decided to give it a try and now I'm hooked.
Excellent, engaging story and fast paced combat. They recently added a decent crafting system and the game just looks fantastic.
I haven't put any money towards it just yet, but I'm thinking about throwing a few bucks towards it.
Anyway, just wondering if there's anyone else currently playing.

I was playing it a lot, but haven't had much time to play anything lately.
I concur, the game is a lot of fun to play, nails a lot of the tone of the DC universe, and looks really good on the PC.

I keep meaning to try it again. Didn't like the controls when I checked it out before.... wonder if I still have it installed.

I played a bit and enjoyed it while i was waiting for swtor to come out. I could be convinced to re-install it on my laptop when that arrives later this week, if you are looking for company. Are you playing heroes or villains?

I Played while waiting for SWTOR. Enjoyed it for a while. I would not suggest playing on a PvP server. There is a lot of high level ganking of newbies. Really enjoyed it. Yes the controls are alittle janky. but good fun.

I want to make a villain that no one's really afraid of. Just annoyed by.... but they act like they're afraid of him because they feel sorry for him.
Kind of like a mean version of me.
I just made myself sad.

I never liked the PC controls for DCUO. But I think people have always said it plays better if you use a controller. But otherwise, it's a pretty cool game. Especially if you like very buxom women. Chiropractor could make a ton of money in that game...

I'm playing on the PvE server. I remember in beta, when I rolled on a PvP server, walking out of the police station and being one-shot over and over.
I can't believe how much content they provide for free, and how little restrictions there is on it. I'm around lvl 17 or 18 and I haven't felt like I'm missing anything by playing it for free other than wanting to roll some alts. There's a maximum of 2 character slots if you're playing for free and limited inventory. I may end up spending some money for some of the DLC.
