www.riftjunkies.com/forums/showthread.php?1031-Solo-Questing-Rogue-Assassin-Riftstalker-NightbladeThat will be up to lvl 40 .. the last leg of the build will be about getting some defense and some more shadowsteping abilitys on the NB side.. Key abilities: Riftstalker: Boosted Recovery: +30% Healing received. Rift Scavenger: Heal 6% Max HP per Combo point left on target (30% at 5 points, plus Boosted Recovery bonus) Ruthless Stalker: +15% crit every time you Plane Shift. Rift Barrier: -15% damage taken every time you Plane Shift. Shadow Assault/Shadow Blitz/Shadow Stalk/Shadow Shift: Teleport abilities proc Ruthless Stalker for +15% crit and for 2 abilities, +15% damage via Stalker Phase. Assassin: Leeching Poison: Constant stream of healing from poison procs, improved by Boosted Recovery. Enduring Brew: Very effective self heal after adding the Boosted Recovery bonus and reducing the DoT via Rift Barrier and Exceptional Resilience. Savage Strike: Super high crit rate, around 40% after a Plane Shift and Lethal Poison proc. Crit damage: Crits are good and this build excels at them with Plane Shifts further adding crit chance. Pick up everything crit based.

I've been rocking through quests with mostly bladedancer and some riftstalker (for the skill that gives back health for each mark on the target when it dies). I dodge and parry a lot, and when I do, they take damage, plus I get to use my reaction attack. So things die pretty fast. And when they die, I get hp and energy, so I can pretty much chain kill non-stop. I kill groups of 3 my level, no sweat, and can take 1 or 2 things higher than me.
Plus, it is pretty damn fun.
I haven't gone deep in RS or Ass yet. How are they? RS seemed tanky (hard to die, but hard to kill anything). I've not looked at Ass, but assume mostly single target killing from stealth.

My assassin build has pretty much zero steathy attacks at all. Going more the route of Shadowstepping and the buffs and defense you get from it.
This build is getting heals from 3 different sources, Leaching Poison, Combo Point Refund, Enduring Brew.
After every shadow step I get 15% crit buff, 10% to all attack buff, -15% dmg inc to me.
Its pretty fun build Shib was trying it last night I think he was enjoying it as well.

Yes, this build is fun as hell. Once you get the hang of it you really get a groove of shadowstepping from MOB to MOB and at the end you're standing there at full health.
Total blast.

BD gets something similar that makes you leap to a target and it roots them (and gives combo points).

I haven't gone deep in RS or Ass yet. How are they? dunno about either... my wife certainly will not allow me to try ass, and she'll probably get weirded out about RS (i don't even know what that is!!) I've not looked at Ass, but assume mostly single target killing from stealth. i think it's healthy to at least look at ass... imo. i don't know about killing a single target from stealth, but whatever gets you looking at ass i guess! tim hortons coffee + work = ftw!
