Anyone know of decent video editing sw for PC? Just need to do some cut-n-paste. Nothing fancy or $$.

I haven't tried it in ages, but I remember it wouldn't let you cut frames out of a movie, only paste clips together, but I'll give it a shot. I'm sure it's gotten better.

Agreed. I used WMM for some videos I did on Super Monday Night Combat but it was a piece of shit to use for cutting and pasting stuff together.

I've only ever used it for stitching together home movies. It's worked fine for that purpose, at least.

It crashed and corrupted my big file with all the clips mashed together that I was editing. But it worked fine when I edited each by itself and stitched together the edited clips.

At work we use Camtasia. It's very easy to use and it has a free trial. I'm not sure what it actually costs though.

Ouch! I only need to cut a few things together and throw a little text on the screen once in a while. I would pay like... up to maybe $40 for decent video editing software... and that's why I use Windows Movie Maker. Its clumsy organization and regular crashes make editing difficult, but it's a whole bunch of free.
I swear, my phone's iMovie app is better and it was like $10.
